mat meet this winter?

Anyone planning on getting together this winter?

There is usually some attempt to get together in SoCal but nothing is on the books as yet.

i'm in the sf bay area but will probably head down to to northern la county to visit the inlaws sometime between x-mas and new years for a few days.

I would love to get up to the queen of the coast this winter. I'm thinking about January 26th or 27th as I have the days off and the crowds shoudl be a bit smaller. Maybe a little mat meetup is in order then? I'd also like to take a slide at the points in the trestles/sano area. Particularly Church and Cottons.

Nate... remind me when you come down this way and I'll meet up with ya. We can paddle out on a nice point break. Hit me up here as it gets closer to Christmas, here or over on my forum (www.mofosurfer.com, I am the one and only "mofo" of that forum- we are "mat friendly", lol). I live up by the Ventura/LA border and I dig taking the mat out (as well as surfing on a board, lol).

No dale this year? ...i hope that wasnt a once in a lifetime gig i missed!

this year the Ksusa Us kneelo titles will be in SC the 14th-17th and so will I...

il kneeboard most of the time(for competitive edge) but will definetly have a couple mat go outs to mellow out...

confession ..when i kneelo alot i get a competition mind set, can be a wave hog at times and get frustrated when i mess up...never fought but was close a couple times...

i take out the mat and instantly transform .....ive had rides where i get dropped in on and i swear it made the ride way more fun. :roll:

i will be in so cal for the christmas season if we can arrange it id love to do a mini dale at rincon or some other location
